Massachusetts March Snow Storms Could Bring Automobile Wrecks

Strong winds could play a vital role in causing accidents along the coast. Forecasters are saying they expect heavy, wet snow to be whipped by winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour and gusting up to 50 mph. They could make driving difficult and can cause unexpected accidents because they can also take down tree branches and unsuspecting power lines.

Forecasters stated that the storm should be long and should gradually get heavier as the days go by from Wednesday through Friday morning; Thursday should be hit the heaviest. Friday evening come, the storm should have fizzled out.

The forecaster told reporters that "confidence grows that this storm will have a moderate to high impact on Southern New England." And there is some uncertainty about the storm as it could result in a bust.

It is always important that drivers are aware of potentially hazardous driving conditions and are adequately prepared for them as they could lead to a vehicle wreck resulting in serious vehicle damage or personal injury.
